DAVAN!!!!!!

Ok, so today we got up and went to the airport to pick up DAVAN!!!!!

Davan is tellling me I should write that she is really tired!
So far today we went to a castle in the next village from where I live and drove up a hill to where there is snow.

Now my job is to keep Davan awake until 8pm! : )

Davan is in the plane right now on the way to Amsterdam, and then tomorrow at 11:20 she will land in Basel!!! I've been waiting for SUCH a long time for tomorrow and now it's finally happening!!!!
I will take some pictures tomorrow and then put them on here!

Updates

Hi once again!!
Well it's been a long time since my last post so I though that I could just write another one today!
I got home alright with some trouble at the airport in PDX, but it wasn't too bad! When I got to Basel a whole bunch of people were waiting for me. I was really happy to see them all again!!
School is though but ok... My life has been a little weird, to get used to everything again, but it's not too bad now.
Today one year ago, on January 29th 2012 my exchange year in Portland was half way over!! It was a really weird day! It was the first day that I realized how soon my exchange year was really going to be over! And how short 10 months really are!
Well and guess what, do you know how Davan and I used to talk about her coming to visit me? Well she is leaving Portland this Friday!!! Yes in 3 DAYS!!!! Isn't that just crazy?? : ) She gets here Saturday!! I AM SO EXCITED!! : D

Ok I thought this was a good time to just write something on here again, so I did! : )

Well maybe I will write some more once Davan is here.

Leaving!

Hello Portland people!
My time here is up. I loved being in Portland! These 10 months are the best thing I've ever done in my life! Thank you all so much for making them what they were! I'll never ever forget this year!  This was not my last time in PDX - I will be back! Love you all! Goodbye Portland!

Crazy!! I remember when I just got here on August 31! But now it has been 10 whole months!
I'm sad to leave everybody here in Portland, but I know this was not my last time here!
I really hope that I can come back next summer for a couple of weeks, now I just have to tell my parents... :)
I finished packing! We're leaving in 15 min!
It's so sad I don't even know what to think!

But them I'm also really happy to go home! I just don't know what to think!
Well I have 15h to think about this now! : P

last night in Portland

Hallo!
Jetzt habe ich nur noch eine letzte Nacht, dann fliege ich morgen um 13:30 los!
Gestern habe ich vorallem gepackt. Am Nachmittag habe ich mich noch mit Elanor und Lydia getroffen, es war toll. Dann am Abend holte ich mit Siri und Sten eine Glacé und dann malten wir draussen mit Kreide und spielten Spiele.
Heute war ich am Morgen mit Pernille und Becca auf Hawthorne. Dann später packte ich noch mehr, Davan half mir ein wenig. Um halb fünf gingen wir nach DoJump denn wir fanden eine Klasse die wir nehmen konnten! Es war toll nochmal in DoJump zu sein!!
Jetzt muss ich noch fertig packen, morgen geht es los!
Es ist mega komisch wie schnell die letzten paar Monate vorbei gegangen sind!!

Hallo!
Gestern habe ich am morgen schön lange ausgeschlafen! : )
Am Nachmittag war ich ein wenig auf Hawthorne und dann gingen Davan und ich noch ins Gymnastics, es war super! Nachher übernachtete Davan hier. Heute packte ich ein wenig, und dann am Abend hatten wir die Zig Zag Party! Es war mega toll! Wir waren bei einem von den Zig Zags zu Hause, sie haben einen grossen Garten, mit Zipline und allem! Sie haben sogar ein Pool aber es war leider zu kalt... Wir redeten viel und waren auf der Zipline und als es dunkel wurde sassen wir um ein Lagerfeuer, assen Smores und sangen Lieder. Es war super all die DoJump Leute nochmal zu sehen! Ich werde sie alle mega vermissen, aber ich weiss das ich sie wiedersehen werde!

Hallo!
Ich bin jetzt wieder zurück in Portland! Wir fuhren gestern für etwa 15 h, insgesamt waren wir in 5 Staaten gestern, in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho und Oregon. Wir schliefen in einem Motel gerade bei der Grenze zwischen Oregon und Idaho. Die Fahrt war gut! Heute fuhren wir nochmal für etwa 7h. Wir hielten noch bei einem Stonehenge Dublikat, es hat eines in Washington. Es ist gleich gross wie das richtige in England! Manchmal spinnen die Amerikaner schon! : )
Jetzt freue ich mich auf eine ziemlich stressige Woche, denn ich habe nur noch ein paar Tage und vieles zu erledigen!
